Mix the honey and bbq sauce in a bowl. Cover and place in fridge until ready to use.
Mix the milk and egg in a separate bowl and set aside.
Mix the flour, hot sauce, salt, peppers, garlic and onion powder in another separate bowl.
Dip a wing into the milk and egg mixture, then coat it with the flour mixture. Dip it into the milk and egg mixture again, and coat another layer of flour over that.
Heat the grease in a cast iron skillet, and cook the chicken wings until they are a light golden brown. It does not matter if they are done completely in the middle, you just want to fry them until they have a lovely brown colored crispy crust.
Once the wings are done, dip them in the BBQ honey sauce and place them on the baking dish.
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees, and bake the wings for 20 to 30 minutes until the sauce is bubbly with a slight brownish tint.
Remove the wings from the oven and quickly sear each side on your grill to give it a nice grilled smoky flavor, and so it will create a nice, tasty, crispy charred crust.
